Exhibit number for each document, not page

I have over 100 documents I am trying give Exhibit numbers to. When I run bates, it gives a number to each PAGE.
Is there a way to bates number each DOCUMENT? [Exhibit 1, Exhibit 2 ...] Or should I be using a different function. Thanks!

Hi FHLO,

Have to tried the Document Numbering Action from the Actions Exchange here (located under the Gallery tab of the top menu)? It includes options for setting page ranges and I believe you can leave off the page numbering too.
