when reveiwing & commenting on a pdf file in which we don't have the word version how can we save those comments? I see where I can export to word, AutoCad, Datafile.

There aren't too many alternatives for saving comments if you don't have Word installed on your system. Saving to a datafile saves the comments in the Acrobat fdf format, which probably won't do you any good unless you're importing/exporting to/from PDF files.
One other possiblility would be to use a Batch sequence to save the comments to a tab delimited file (which can then be opened in Excel).
