Hi All,
New to forum.. :)
Simple question really
Using Acrobat 8 standard / Win XP 32bit sp3
Can a user freely "Color" in an area of a PDF?
We have technical drawings that we send out to venders and we like to "Color" in the areas of concern. For example we may color in an area to indicate a special surface finish is required. Sure we could use arrows, balloons etc. but we like to color in the area. We currently export the PDf as a .BMP file, edit the document using MS Paint, then converting it back into a PDF for distribution..

Maybe we need a different version, or maybe it can’t be done.

Hope fully someone has an easy answer.

Thanks
Jscott

Have you tried the "Cloud" commentting tool and setting the "Fill Color"?

Thanks gkaiseril
it's not as friendly as using a "free form' highlighter but I think it might just work for now.
keep the ideas coming in!
