When using the Free Form tool to draw some markup comments with my Wacom tablet, I notice that some brushstroke get include into a single comment, others stay separated. Is their a way to force each brushstroke to be a single comment, or is their a minimum inactivity in fractions of seconds that Acrobat need to do so?

I think there have been some differences between versions in how this tool works. But generally, my experience has been that there has to be some significant break in the flow of writing for Acrobat to start adding strokes to new annotation. The break being either a very different location or a significant pause in time. The time pause is pretty brief, I think around 1/2 second. Adobe doesn't publish this kind of detail so you already know more about than most users.

Thanks! In Acrobat X, it is surely the time pause that decide when an annotation break.
