Have zoom incorporate sticky note comments on the side

Hi,

I have my sticky notes set up so that appear directly along the right-hand border of the PDF page, but not on the page, to allow me to read both at once. What I'm wondering, is there a way to change the zoom settings (in both normal and 'fullscreen' modes) so that when I zoom in and out it takes the comments as part of what I want to see, rather than just the PDF doc. I ask because I read academic PDFs at about 125%, and this cuts off half of my sticky note. It wouldn't if it shoved the PDF page to the left a little bit, but it only centres the page, not the page+note.

Hope this makes sense, and thanks in advance :)

Hi,

Did you try : Preferences : Commenting : Ensure that pop-ups are visible as the document is scrolled ?

Hi Merlin,

Thanks for your response, but unfortunately that isn't the best solution for me, as this means they don't 'stick' to their original place - this is important as I often have 4 or 5 sticky notes on the one page. It also doesn't solve the problem of zooming.

Thanks for the help regardless.

Sorry but it's not possible - Acrobat/Reader refer only to the page area when calculating the position for zoom and "fit to ... " displays. Sticky notes (and anything else not on the page area) are ignored.
