When I import a pdf document to the designer to add text, the text which is already there goes up or down, above other text which is already there.

To replicate this, download: [link=http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/5000-]http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/5000-[/link] … 11-06e.pdf and import it into designer. Then read the text after saving it.

Using Adobe Designer 7.0

Currently I am using drawing markup tools - text in the Acrobat 7.0 Pro to write text into the document. If there is any other way using Acrobat (not designer) to write text into documents please let me know.

Hi endgame,

Your entire link did not come through on your posting; however, I did take a look at the site. All of the PDF documents appear not to have form fields. So, to fill them out in Acrobat you can use the text box tool or typewriter. The typewriter is easier but you don't have all the font options.

In Acrobat 8 (which I realize you don't have) you can use the "Run Form Field Recognition" tool to automatically create form fields. If you'd like to investigate this feature you can check out a trial download at:

Hope this helps,
Lori
