highlight tool

I am having a problem with the highlight tool. It comes up, but not able to highlight any PDF files. It was working before we installed adobe acrobat 8 standard. Any ideas what it could be?

Acrobat Standard 8, Windows

Hi izzythekid23,

I would suggest updating to Acrobat 8.1 to see if this corrects your problem. Did you by chance also update your OS to a 64-bit version? If so, Acrobat 8.1 supports the newer 64-bit Windows applications.

Well the problem is that this is the only PC thats having that issue. Everyone else is not having that problem
