Make sure your cursor in inside the text box (as though you were going to start typing) then bring up the text box properties cmd + e. This will bring up the text box properties menu where you should see the font, font size, etc. menus. It's also a toolbar you can turn on/off.
Hope this help, Lori

Lori, I've also queried Ali on this and got your response, but I cannot for the life of me get a text cursor back into the text box. I've tried the Select Objects tool, Not. and the text edits tool. Not. Both affect the entire box. I've also double clicked and tried various shift, option command combinations. I cannot select text that I've already put in the box. Help! There must be something very simple I'm missing. Thanks.
Can I change the text font and size so that it stays consistent for all of my document mark-ups (call-outs and text boxes)? Or do I have to go in and change it every time I insert a new text box or call-out?

When you select a text box and then right-click for the context menu, you'll see the option to set the current attributes as the default.

I have been trying to change the font size but it does not work. Itried to pull down the font size handle on the menu bar but it is grayed out. Do I have to download the fonts or what.
I have had Adobe X Standard for a month now and every thing was wonderful.
I am now having problems with the font when adding a text box. It appears the same tone asthe rest of the document until you move off of it. Once you do that it becomes very faded.
I can't find a way to fix this.
This is not the text box underthe comment tab. Thei is the "Add or Edit Text Box" command under the Tools/Content/Edit Text and Objects.
