How do I share Adobe Acrobat PDF files with a URL?

Hi, I want the best way to share pdf filles.

What I want is a webpage that has a url of the pdf. The user pulls up that pdf, changes it, and can save it right back to that URL. I know that Adobe has a review that can use webdav, but you can't edit the file with webdav and it it is using the unc to get the files.

Is there any "real" way to collaborate with Adobe Acrobat Pro. via web pages? All I want to do is save a pdf, someone else pull up the pdf and save it via the web page url and that url is not a unc, but the http://.... I do not mean this for reviewing or commenting but real editing.

This is an Intranet application so I have full control over the security.

I would be happy to consider purchasing another adobe product if I knew that was what I needed.

Thank you.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.1, Windows

Here is a similar setup that may solve your issue. We use Sharepoint which is a web server. problem is, when you do a shared review, Adobe defaults to providing an http path, so when the user follows the link, it opens in their browser. problem with that is that commenting tools are not available in the browser. For our Sharepoint site, i can provide my reviewers a URL by simply turning the "/" to "\" and removing the http.

Does your webdev allow access from a URL path instead of http?

Also, maybe their is a browser call that opens adobe reader instead of the browser?
