Markups rotated 90° when copied to another document

I am adding markups to drawings. Sometimes, when I copy a markup to another drawing, it appears rotated 90 degrees. Is there a trick I can do to paste copied markups in the correct orientation.

This effect happens on text as well as graphics.

Is this a landscape document? If so, this may be causing the issue because the layer that the annotations are on isn't rotated. Try using the Replace pages command instead to see if it works better.
