Is possible to resize attachment link icon?

I'm trying to do manually what is done automatically by acrobat when an email with attachments is converted into PDF. In an email PDF, any file that was attached to the email is now part of the PDF and links are created in the top are of the PDF. If you zoom in the links will also increase in proportion.

Is there any way i can emulate such same link/icon (using the attach as file comment tool) and resize it?

Bottom line, I'm just trying to have a Procedure Manual PDF which will open it's attached forms (word, excel, etc.) in their own application and at the same time the link should look like one created with the "link tool" (like a hyperlink).

link tool will allow me to do any kind of link, but will not open file in native app.
attach file as comment will allow me to open the attached file in it's native app, but the link options it has are the no best.
a happy medium between these would be the perfect solution for my issue.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the response rbogie. I saw your response to such post, and I apply such method, but then I was looking at an email with attachments which I converted into PDF and such attachments' links at the top were flat hot zones that increase and decrease in size when the user zooms in or out. With your solution, the link icon stays the same size and the proportion is lost.

I was just wandering if acrobat allows you to do such thing or if it was just a side effect of converting an email to PDF. Also, I was wondering if in the next version (X) the user will have more flexibility on this.

Thanks again.

to my (limited?) knowledge there is not a way to open an attachment from a bookmark. a workaround would be to point the bookmark (with a pinpoint destination) to a precise position on a page in the pdf where you have placed an 'attach file as comment' icon

ok, i was actually thinking something like that. Link tool works perfect for my purpose but only for PDF files (and not non-PDF files). So, it may not be clean but, in the main PDF I may have multiple attached PDF's each one containing the NON-PDF that I want linked, then using the LINK TOOL, point to the corresponding PDF where the user then have to open the attached NON-PDF file. (I can put a generic note so the user knows they have to go to the attachment panel to open the file).

What you think?
