Remove highlighting

I have a file created by someone else. There is no document security; there are no restrictions on me making changes. The file was created by Corel PDF Engine. I have Acrobat 8.

How can I remove yellow highlighting in place when I received the file? Actually, all I need is to print without highlighting.

Thanks

This depends on how the highlighting was placed on your file. Do you know if the highlighting has been done using the Comments tool in Acrobat? If so, these can be turned off during printing by selecting "Document" from the Comments and Forms: pulldown in the Acrobat Print menu.

Another option would be to use the Object Touch Up tool (Acrobat Pro. only) to see if the highlights could removed this way.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I fear that the highlighting was created on WordPerfect, then the document (with highlighting) was converted to pdf. Acrobat does not seem to be able to recognize the highlighting.

I've decided to go back to the creator to ask for a copy of the document with no highlighting. I was trying to avoid this, because the document was created by a lawyer and I seem to get charged more money for any correspondence with them, and it seems to take week or two for them to reply.

So, I guess I am withdrawing my request on this subject, in that I don't think Acrobat can fix this.
