replacing text content

I have a PDF file that I need to replace some content before I print it out without the comment showing the old content. Example: DSCA005242
to be replaced as
DSCA005200
can you help me please?

Hi Starzel,

It would help if you provided what program you have to work with- Acrobat Standard, Professional, Adobe Reader? The capabilities are different in each.

If you have Acrobat Pro, you can use the Touch Up Text tool to make minor edits such as changing the number in your example. The Touch Up Text tool is loacted on the Advanced Editing toolbar ( View ->Toolbars, select Advanced Editing). See the Acrobat Help file for instructions on how to use this tool if you have any problems. If the editing extends beyond a few characters to replace as in your example, it is always better to go back to the application the document was created in and make the edits there. Acrobat is a finished document format not intended for major editing tasks.To print the PDF without comments select "Document" in the File->Print dialog "Comments and Forms" drop-down list.The "Touch Up Text" tool is not available in Acrobat Standard or the free Adobe Reader.
