Rotating Stamps

How do you rotate objects created from the stamp tool? Also can you rotate objects and pages less than 90 degrees at a time eg 45 degrees?

It isn't very obvious. Select the stamp and then grab the top center selection handle. The cursor will change to a curled arrow, and you can move the stamp. Hold down the shift key to constrain the movement to 45 degrees.

Thanks for your answer but this didn't work. The stamps do not have a center selection handle, the only handles are the ones in each corner. Do I need to have an option enabled or be using a certain tool to do this perhaps? The only cursors I can see are the grabber hand the selection arrow and the resizing arrow.
