Hi All
I’m new to both the forum and to Acrobat 9.

I work in the quality department and we often have prints with dimensions that are numbered by taking a highlighter and placing a circle near the dimension and than numbering the highlighted circle. When scanned and scaled the highlighted areas are often unreadable.

My question is: Is there a way to create a stamp where the stamp will number sequentially? I want to number a print’s dimensions to make it easier to read.

Thanks for any and all help
Mike

Hi Mleneway,

This blog entry by Rick Borstein may help you with this, as long as you are OK with appling the number in an entry field for each stamp placed on the PDF. His solution is based on a tutorial "Dynamic Stamp Secrets" in the Learning Center on this site, so you may want to read that as well for additional information.

Hope this helps,

You may want to look at a desk top product that will give you the option of sequential number multiple documents:http://www.appligent.com/stamppdf-de
