Is there a technical reason that Shared Review doesn't work with PDF Packages? Should our company hold out hope that this feature is coming soon to Adobe Acrobat?

When I begin a Shared Review and select a PDF Package as the PDF file to be reviewed, a dialog box with the following message appears:
"Acrobat cannot send a combined PDF Package for review. To send more than one file for Review at a time, first choose File > Combine Files and then choose the Merge option. You can send the resulting file out for any type of review."Unfortunately, merging a Package into a single PDF file removes the organizational capabilities that PDF Packages provide and that our company relies upon.

Unfortunately there are two limitations to PDF Packages: 1) they cannot be reviewed using one of the formal wizards or 2) sent out in a data-collection workflow.
