Stamp Will Not Print

I can see a "sign here" stamp on a pdf after I insert it, but when I print the document, it prints out as plain text of the who the author is (my company). I have been using Acrobat for a while now and this is the first time it has happened.
Any help would be appreciated.

Acrobat Standard 8.0, Windows

Hi hlb1444,

When you get the print dialog there is a pull down labeled "Comments and Forms" Try changing the option in that pulldown to Document and Stamps, then print.

A quick workaround for this is to save as JPG, then in Acrobat, pull in the JPG and save as the PDF file again. This clears the stamp as a layer, and makes it visible and printable.
