Hi sandy_mac,

Below are the instructions for deleting custom stamps from Acrobat 7 Pro's Help document. I believe these instructions will work for Stnd too, but I don't have Stnd loaded on my system- give it a try and post back if you still have problems.

To delete stamps:
1.From the Stamp Tool menu on the Commenting toolbar, choose Show Stamps Palette.
2.Choose the stamp category from the pop-up menu, right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the custom stamp, and choose Delete from the pop-up menu.
3.If you haven't provided a name in the Identity preferences, the Identity Setup dialog box prompts you to do so.

To delete a custom stamp category:
1.Choose Manage Stamps from the Commenting toolbar.
2.Select the category you want to delete, and then click Delete.
Note: Deleting all stamps in a custom stamp category deletes the custom stamp category.

Hope that helps,

Dimitri

Hi,

I did try the same. I removed the stamps from favorites. When I closed the Adobe and open it again, the stamps comes back in favorites! Ultimately I am not able to remove the stamps from Favorites. Are there any known issies with Adobe 7.0 on this or is there any other way of removing stamps from favorites.

Regards,
Sandhya

Hi Sandhya,

I don't know of any issues regarding deleting stamps in Acrobat 7 Stnd. I looked in the Help file for Stnd just to make sure the directions were the same as for Pro and they are. If following those directions in my previous reply does not work, I would suggest you run Detect and Repair (found in the Help menu) to see if that resolves the problem.

Hope that helps,

Dimitri
