Stamps Palette Problem

I am using Acrobat 9.4.6 Pro and my Stamps Palette will no longer display. Any ideas on how to fix this?
(I apologize if this is a repeat. I couldn't find an earlier attempted post.)

Sure. I go to Tools > Comment & Markup > Stamps > Show Stamps Palette and then nothing happens. No palette box appears as it did in previous versions of Acrobat. No error message appears either.A similar thing happens when I try to do an Advanced Search, but in that case, if I go to Window > Zoom after selecting Open Full Acrobat Search, I can see the search box. The zoom trick isn't working for the stamps palette.Thanks.
