text box tool

When entering text boxes, the text always shows up as red.
When I click on properties, on the appearance tab, no option comes up to change text color or font size....help !

A:We need a little more precision on the type of questions asked. Are you talking about the Typewriter tool, the TouchUp Text tool, a Comment Text Box, a form field?

I am using the text box tool. When I go to properties, the "locked" box is unchecked and there are no options there to change text color or size.

Chect to see if the field is Locked. You'll see the Locked chakbox on all tabs in the Field Properties. remove the checkmark in order to activate the Appearance options.
