I'm unable to send a document for shared review because it states that my current security permissions do not allow for modification. Although, when I go into file/properties/security, it shows that I have no security but, in the restriction section it states that Changing the Document, Document Assembly, and Creation of Template Pages are not allowed.

How do I remove those restrictions when there is no current security method associated to the document?

Just some background on the form, the form was created in Designer 7 initially. I'm currently now using Designer ES 8.2 and Adobe 9 Pro.

Thanks for including the background information on the document you're trying to send for shared review. Is this a static or dynamic form? Static PDF forms created in Designer support annotations but not dynamic forms so the only way to get around this is to create a static form instead of a dynamic one during shared reviews.

OK. So, I recently created a new form in designer ES 8.2 and saved the document as a 'Static' document but, when sending for review, I still receive a pop up stating that there are some restrictions. The same result I stated in my 10-23-08 post.

Please help....

Hi!
I would like some help please on some functions of send for shared review.

When I try to send for shared review and choose "Automatically collect comments from my own internal server", I type the path to the shared network folder and go to next. I need to provide a name for this server profile. My Network Folder (send as attachment) already exists so I can not use it however, when I type anything (name) it does not accept. I get "The filename you specified is not valid because it does not include a .pdf extension, contains one or more invalid characters etc." I try to add .pdf extension but it still doesnt work. What am I doing wrong?

Also when I use Acrobat.com to send for reviews, the comments collected do not appear within the document, is this correct? Or how do I set it so I can see the comments embedded within the document

Can you re-post your question to a new thread? Also it's very helpful if you can include information on what version of Acrobat/Windows you're using. Also, is this particular copy of Acrobat that you're using packaged by your IT department?
