I use Prof 7. In the "drawing markups toolbar" there is a text box tool. When you click on the text box tool a box opens and the cursor turns into a hand tool. This happens unless you click the "keep tool selected" box. However, of late when I click on the text box tool, it flashes for a second and goes away. I cannot keep it on my screen unless I click the "keep tool selected" box. I KNOW the text box tool is supposed to stay on the screen when you first click on it so that you can type into it. However for some reason (I believe the program has become corrupted) this doesn't happen anymore. Can you help?
It does sound like your program is corrupted. To fix it, choose Help > Repair Acrobat Installation. The program will evaluate and repair any errors.donna.
