WebDAV service providers

I am looking for an outside replacement to my current WebDAV server. It is going to cost so much to keep the service internally that I am sure there is an outside solution. Acrobat offers a free web server, but I would have to upgrade my user base to Acrobat 9, plus the content would not be secure. EMC offers a similar service as well, but I do not have much info from them yet. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

You may consider sending protected PDF files...

I had considered that, but many of the ~250 users are not tech-savvy, so I could see a PDF with sensitive information being published publicly accidentally on occasion. I need a service that I can manage all access on an individual level. The reason I need an outside service, rather than simply run it on my Xserve, is that to get a public IP internally I would have to go through one group that is going to be charging much more than I see the service being worth. I'm looking into EMC's WebDAV service and hoping that it meets my needs at a more realistic cost.
