acrobat 8 upgrade from 6 on terminal services

I am upgrading from Acrobat Professional 6 on Windows 2000 Terminal Services to Acrobat Professional 8 on Windows 2000 Terminal Services - same server. I would like to know:

1) Should I uninstall the previous version or let the new install upgrade/uninstall the old version?

2) I notice there's an update - should I install that regardless of whether I have problems or not?

All assistance is appreciated in advance.

You should deinstall all versions of Acrobat, then install Acrobat 8.0. Lastly, be sure to run the 8.1 patch you can download free from Adobe's Web site.
