Acrobat 8.0 Shuts Down

When I am using Acrobat 8.0 it shuts down.

When I open up a document in the program, it shuts down a few seconds after I start.

If I try to convert a document to .pdf, it doesn't convert, as Acrobat shuts down half way through.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

Hi,

I think I found a workaround.

Not the most handy one but at least it works, and doesn't require any reinstallation or patch or anything :

When you launch Acrobat 8, just before it shuts down, in the"Help" menu do "Repair Acrobat Installation".
By doing that, you will have Acrobat repairing itself in the background. While doing that, it won't shut down and you can still work.

Try it ! It works on my Vista 64.

Good luck !

Axel.
