I have Acrobat Pro 8.1.2 installed on a Citrix server. When a user tries to open a PDF it briefly starts Acrobat and then closes.
When I hold the SHIFT key and double-click the document it opens.
I emptied the plug-ins folder and it opens documents correctly
I added back in plug-ins until it would not open anymore and found the culprit to be a file called PDDOM.API.
Now I can open the documents but it then throws up an error that "A serious error has been detected and Adobe Acrobat 8.1.0 Professional cannot continue. Please reinstall the application and try again."
Any ideas on how to get the documents to open without an error?
