Acrobat 9 Pro Extended crashes while enabling Reader usage rights

Hi,

I've made my first XML dynamic forms with Livecycle Designer ES2.

Now I want to distribute them by e-mail, and I want to allow the users to save a copy of the fullfilled form from Adobe Reader.

So, I opened the PDF in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended (v9.3.1, I think) and chose 'Advanced' -> 'Extend Features in Adobe Reader'. But when I click on the 'Save Now' button, the program crashes and Windows displays a message reading something like 'The software has stopped working, Windows will close it and announce you when the solution comes out'. No error code, no more clues...

The file with reader rights enabled is created anyway, but it doesn't work: when I open it with Reader, and try to save it, it makes Reader crash aswell.

I've read books, posts from this forum, tutorials... but found no solution.

Please, help me!

PS: Acrobat 9 (and Reader, also) is running on Windows 7 Pro 64, FYI.

Have you tried running the Help > Repair Acrobat command?

Check the event log (enter search term eventvwr.exe in start menu) of Windows 7.
There you can find more information about the crash (Windows protocols > Application/System).
As the crash log contains an Event ID for the error you can google for some solutions.

By the way, does the error also occur if enable usage rights on other dynamic forms?
