Acrobat 9.1.2 Problems

I hope I'm posting in the correct area.

I have 2 problems that I would love to solve.

First, the c"onvert web page to pdf "on my top tool bar doesn't work.
The add to document does, tho.
I can also do it from within the program, but that is very time consuming.

I have used the repair option to no avail.

Secondly, every time I open the program, windows installer starts all over again.
It goes very quickly, but is still annoying and I know it's not supposed to do that.

I run Vista 64 bit.

I have it installed on my other computer and it works just fine.

I could re-install it, but last time I tried that the program wouldn't let me, and wouldn't let me use the new program I had gotten.

I ended up having to re-format the computer. Now I'm scared to do it again.

Please, I need HELP!!!

I use the convert webpage option a lot!

TIA,
Ms Pugs

If the Acrobat installer starts automatically when you open the application, you may have a bad problem.
I had a similar one a few weeks ago.
The reason there was a damage of the HDD and the loss of some dll-files Acrobat needs.
So, you should check your HDD (right-click your HDD form the explorer > properties > Tools > check now).
Reboot you PC and let it run the check on next start up (may be take several hours).
It's yust a hint, not a solution ;-)

Well, it also tries to install at other times, too, just out of the blue.

My hard drive should be fine, as I have a brand new computer.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling first?

How did doing what you did help out?

Sorry, I really don't know much about what you proposed.
A bit dense.
Could you dumb-down your answer for me?

I would try running the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility before uninstalling and re-installing Acrobat 9.

Run the file then after it installs, run the tool and select the adobe acrobat 9. This will remove it along with installation files. Then re-install Acrobat 9.
