Acrobat freezes uner one user, but not another...

What can I do about this? It makes no sense. When I log in as an admin, it works fine and I can print to PDF with no problems. However, when I log in as one of the users, it freezes while trying to print to PDF. It gets as far as asking me where I want to print to, and once I select that location and click okay, a smaller dialog box pops up and the status bar freezes and the status says "stopped".

Is there a simple fix? I've googled this problem with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8.0, Windows

FYI, I deleted that user account. Created a new one and it works fine under the new user account. Weird. I don't know how a particular user account could conflict with Acrobat, but it did somehow. Anyway, it's working fine under the 2 accounts on the machine.

Thanks for posting your fix. Did you previously have another version of Acrobat (i.e., version 7) installed on this machine?

No, just 8.0. Very strange. It's working fine now though with the deletion of the account and a creation of a new one.

As a preventative measure, I went ahead and deleted any other PDF software that was on that machine to make sure there wasn't any interference.
