Acrobat Pro 8 constantly asks for admin password

Every time I open Acrobat Pro 8 it asks for the admin username/password. I type it in and it's fine.
But as soon as the application is closed and I go to reopen it, it asks for the admin username/password again.
Any ideas what I can do to get it to stick?
This would be running on a macintosh.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0, Macintosh

Sounds like a bug I found in www that is caused by a typing error in the file /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/CS2ENUDistSelfHeal.xml
and  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/CS2ENUProSelfHeal.xml
.

The line AdobeBibUtils.framework exactly should be written AdobeBIBUtils.framework .

If there is everything correct with the files, the reason is another one.

I couldn't find that line anywhere in the file. I finally just did an uninstall and reinstalled it cleanly. It's back to opening without the password again. But since this is the second time it's happened it the last 6 months, I'm going to do some more searching.

I really appreciate you responding. I know have a starting point. Thanks
