I recently purchased a new Dell Laptop with MS Vista Home Prem. Because of this I needed to purchase Acrobat Pro 9. On my home network I have 4 MS XP machines that all can print fine to the wireless HP Deskjet 6988 printer. On the Vista machine if Acrobat is NOT installed I can print without an issue. If Acrobat is installed the print jobs are not sent until I restart the Vista machine. Stopping and restarting the Print Spooler some times works. I have tried installing Acrobat before installing the printer and vice versa. No issues are reported during the install.

Any suggestions?

Do you have the latest print driver for Vista installed from HP?

All current version and updates of Windows, HP Printer, and Acrobat are installed. No services are reporting any outstanding updates for any software.
