Dear All,
I am deploying Acrobat 9.1 to my users and have used "Adobe Customization Wizard" to modify some setting.
How ever the most important setting I need it specified the default settings to:
Untick "Auto-rotate and Center"
Page Scalling set to "None"
Can someone please help? A registry setting is fine, I need to standardize this as I role it out.
Page Scaling:
Path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\AVGeneral\
Name: iPrintScaling
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1 = None; 2=Fit to Printable Area; etc.
Auto-rotate and Center
Path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\AVGeneral\
Name: bprintAutoRotate
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 = Unchecked; 1=Checked.
Set these values using a fully installed version then use Customizer to pull them over with the registry tool. That will ensure they are properly installed on the target machine for all users. If you use a post install reg update it will only target the current user. There is no HKLM version.
A word of caution - unless you truly have a problem with AutoRotate and Center - something specific to your workflow - I would recomend leaving it checked. You will eliminate a LOT of support calls of folks having print chopped off due to the printer printing orthogonal to the PDF's page orientation.
