We have created a table in Microsoft Access 2003 that contains hyperlinks. In the past we created hyperlinks to Adobe 5.0 documents that worked without problem. When we updated to Adobe 7.0, the hyperlink begins to launch Adobe 7, then closes abruptly. Can you help?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7.0.0, Windows

Hi jldickerman,

Do you have all the updates for Acrobat 7 installed? If so, try installing all the updates to see if this corrects the problem. Also, make sure that your links are fully qualified. For example, a link to a web page must be written as http://www.adobe.com and a link to a file needs to be written as c:\temp\file.doc

There were some modifications made in how links were accessed between versions of Acrobat.

Hope this helps,
Lori

Where can we find the specification showing the mods for Acrobat 8?

Thanks
