Ok i moved up from windows xp pro to windows vista ultimate
I have a duel monitor setup

In Adobe Acrobat 7 pro series when you would open mulitple files and tile the windows inside of one program or instance of acrobat.

However since i have upgraded to 8.1 it opens up multiple files in multiple instance's of the same program so its like haveing 10 files open in 10 seperate adobe 8.1 programs instead of just one.

This is counter-productive for me i have looked through the settings and can not find where i can change this. Please help thx

I don't know how to respond other than for me this greatly improves my productivity as I don't need to try to find which files I have open in the pop up box in the taskbar, instead it's already open..saves me time..as far as changing the feature. Preferences panel (Ctrl+K). In there you should see your Documents--> Open settings --> Show each document in its own window. uncheck the box.

This is actually a new feature set by default in Acrobat 8 can SDI (Single Document Interface). SDI allows the user interface controls for the document window to differ from one document to another according to content or user workflow. To change this back to the behavior of Acrobat 7 or MDI (Multiple Document Interface), make sure the following preference in the above post is unchecked.
