Adobe Acrobat 5.0 install issue with Windows XP

Trying to install Adobe Acrobat on a Windows XP Service Pack 2 platform. The CD-Rom loads to the selection screen. When I click on the "Install Adobe Acrobat 5.0" button, the hourglass comes on for a few then disappears and then the install just seems to cease operation. Any ideas on how to install it? I have Acrobat 9 on another computer, but I need Acrobat 5 to be able to print PDF files from Lotus. Thanks in advance.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 5.x or older, Windows

Wow, it's been quite awhile but I think that Acrobat 5.05 was the first version to support XP. Do you have any other versions of Acrobat and/or Reader on the system that might be causing a conflict?

Jumangi,

Just a data point - I had Acrobat 5 (full) on an XP box (with all XP updates) until recently.
So, it can work.
