Adobe Acrobat Prof 7 Default Setting

I have AA Professional version 7.0.9 and Adobe Reader 9. Is there a way to set a default for AA Professional? Example: I get an attachment via email and click on it and the Reader 9 opens it. I really would prefer AA Professional to open instead. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Delyga,

When you installed Adobe Reader 9 there should have been a dialog that asked if you wanted Reader to be the default viewer for PDF files. In your case, you should have said no. If that option was not set correctly, I think you will have to un-install Adobe Reader 9 and re-install making sure Adobe Reader. Otherwise, I believe the only way to change that setting is in the registry which is not an operation to be taken lightly.
