I was installed Adobe Pro 9 onto my C drive but was left with very little room on my C drive so I wanted to uninstall it so I could install it onto another partition. When I launched the uninstall I get a dialog box which says "gathering information" but it then silently disappears and the application does not uninstall. Why is this happening? Does anyone know how I can uninstall Adobe Pro 9 from my D drive.

I did have a trial version of Adobe Pro 9 installed which able to uninstall this successfully

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Are you uninstalling Acrobat 9 from the control panel? What OS are you using?

Do you have other version of Acrobat on your system? What this part of the Creative Suite?

I don't believe it was part of the Creative Suite. I had a trial version of Adobe 9 Pro but other than than I had no other Adobe software installed on my machine.

I was working with someone else who had the many of the same problems and the following technical note proved very helpful. Let me know if this helps address your problem.

It's not a good idea to install both Reader and Acrobat on the same machine. I suggest you uninstall both of them, use Microsoft's Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and then re-install Reader.

I have adobe pro 9 and preparing to reformat my hard drive in my mac laptop. To prevent losing the license am I suppose to deactivate the lic. before the uninstall and if so where do you do this? I know if your using windows OS adobe 9 has this option in the drop down menu.
