Adobe Professional 8 Breaks Internet Explorer 6 (Pages Will Not Load)

I just joined a few minutes ago; I apologize if this is a duplicate of a previous post my search did not reveal.

I am in a Corporate environment.

Frequently when installing Pro 8 on Windows XP Pro SP2 machines Internet Explorer 6 subsequently fails to load pages.

Specifically, you can not open Favorites, Search or History to the Side Bar and open pages.

Our defacto resolution is to downgrade to Pro 7 or to install IE7 (not yet approved for production use). Neither solutions is always desirable.

Is there a setting or fix that will make Pro 8 and IE6 play nice?

N'mind. DOH!

I disabled the the following Internet Explorer Add-on and the problem seems to have been resolved: Adobe PDF
