Adobe Reader rendering error in IE

A few of our users have weirdly rendered pages in Adobe. When they open a pdf, created via IE webprinting it turns the text into black lines. Minimizing and maximizing the document does the trick, but when they scroll, it happens again. Adobe 8 pro is installed on win server 2003 and the users access it via terminal services (remote desktop). Any ideas?

Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

My first question is what sort of licensing agreement do you have with Adobe to allow you to install and use Acrobat in this fashion.

His licensing issues not withstanding, we have this same problem.

When our users remote desktop connect back to their work PC, which has a properly licensed copy of Acrobat 8 Standard, when they view Adobe PDF's, often the text is displayed as black lines, rendering any work that they need to do (sign documents, etc) impossible.

This usually has to do with 8-bit displays. Windows 2003 allows you to increase the resolution to 15 or 16 bit color -- this will probably improve the issue. You don't see this in Microsoft products because they automatically reduce the UI experience when running on 8-bit displays.
