Adove Reader X installs but lacks print dialog and other features

Reader X has now been installed three or more times but none of the installations will provide a print dialog other than a box with a couple of frames but otherwise blank. This applies when I open an existing file.
Also in files in IE and Firefox there is no menu bar so I can neither save nor print. Keystrokes such as Ctrl+P do not work.

My downloads so far
1

.msi

2

3

.exe

Is there a way to download Reader 9? I made the mistake of uninstalling that version before installing Reader X

Incidentally, in some cases, the install starts when the download bar shows only 70%

My Product Information:
Reader, Windows

I have the same problem. It may have something to do with 10.1.1 not working well with Win7 64 bit.
Adobe needs to produce a solution for this problem.

Alas, the problem is not confined to 64-bit - I'm on 32-bit. My workaround was to locate the site where I could download and install version 9.4

I found a place to get version 9.4, downloaded and installed it, and it corrects the problem.

Get it here: http://www.oldapps.com/adobe_reader.php?old_adobe=25

I don't know what Adobe did in version 10, but they screwed up.
