Can get rid of Free Trial counter after paying for Acrobat Pro 9

I needed Abrobat Pro immediately and the licensing information wasn't going to arrive for a few hours or days, so my sales rep suggested I use the free trial version. So I did that. Then, before I downloaded the paid version, I uninstalled the free version. Then I installed the new version.

I was still getting the count-down message about the free trial version and it wouldn't take my serial number (I bought the volume license). I called support and we got my serial number all entered, but the count-down screen came back. Now it has expired and I can't use Acrobat. Of course, I'm on a Monday deadline for a proposal and need to work all weekend. What can I do??

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.3.1, Windows

Additional information: I modified Acrobat Pro 9 through "Remove or Change a Program" (control panel) and that did not work. I also tried the "repair" option but nothing works. I uninstalled Acrobat Reader and re-installed it, but that doesn't even work.
