I hope this is the place to ask this.

Ever since I installed Acrobats patch, AcrobatUpd932_all_incr.msp I will get get a Windows Installer when I click on the Desktop icon. This does not happen all of the time but enough to make it very annoying.

This will then show that it is installer starts and is installing Acrobat all over again.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat.
Used the MS Windows Installer Cleanup program.

Note: this is happening on both of my PC with Windows XP Pro SP3 and my laptop Windows XP Home SP3.
Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.3.2
Avast 5.0 AV - PC Tools firewall - Flash player - all patches installed

Any help will be appreciated.

Though it is for acro 8 you can apply it acro 9. It is been an year and they still haven't published one for 9.

I'll give it a try even though it is close to what I had already did.


Edit
I removed and reinstalled Acrobat.
Lets see what happens.
