Help Installing Reader

I can not seem to get reader on my computer I keep getting the following error
 
Internal Error 2753 Updater.api_NON_OPT
 
Does anyone know what is going on?

Reader 8, Windows

Try this.
Un-install all previous installations of Reader. Check your registry to see if all references to Adobe Reader have been removed. Download a fresh Adobe Reader installation file from Adobe and try to install it again.

Before doing this, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Adobe Reader.

It does this message when I go to uninstall to and I am not sure which registry keys to delete.
