I want to install Acrobat 7.0 standard on my new computer, but the cd I bought doesn't read. My old computer crashed so I can not copy the program from it. I have the my SN, etc. from my original purchase. Thanks, John.

You should try to reduce the read speed of you drive to the lowest speed as possible.
Many cd-rom read too fast, so a scratched or uneven disc is not read properly.
The way how to do this depends on your drive and OS (check the manuals).
But you also can use the freeware Nero DriveSpeed for this purpose.
If this doesn't help, try the disc in another computers drive.

Good luck ;)
