Hi forum,

I am new here so please, be a little patient with me.

On one of my Windows XP systems, I have only Acrobat Reader installed, on another one Acrobat Standard 8, too.

Now, I like to explore what I can do with all the OLE automation objects that Acrobat/Reader offer if I access them from Python. According to several documents, AxAcroPDFLib seems to be an interesting candidate, but it seems not to be installed on my systems. In oleview, I can see a lot of Adobe automation objects, but AxAcroPDFLib doesn't show up.

What is missing ? Is this library not part of the Adobe applications I have installed and, if so, how can I get it ? Googling on this didn't help much.
