Hello everyone,
I have having an issue and not sure what to do. I am running Vista Business and just installed Acrobat Professional 8.0. Install seemed to go fine. Well every time I right click on the start button I get this message:
"Please wait while windows configures Acrobat" it goes through it thing and thats it...then everything runs fine. Acrobat run fines to be honest but it happens every time I right click on start...with out fail. I tried to update to 8.1.2 which went fine and its still doing it. When I was running Acrobat 7.XX professional on the same machine it did it then too but it also happened every time I launched internet explorer too (not happening with the 8.0 install). Any ideas as to what the heck the issue is here?

Thanks,
Tom

My guess would be a possible permission issue, hard to tell as I've not encountered this issue myself. however take a look at post 34 of the following thread:

This solution basically rests permissions in your registry and folders.

Only attempt this if you're the admin on the affected machine.
