Install patches without original installation source

I've been very frustrated that I can't install patches without the original installation source. Is there a way around this? This is particularly frustrating for our remote workers who won't be back in the office for months, but need the security patches installed. I'd appreciate any hints or tips around this limitation.

You shouldn't need the original installation CD to install your patches. If you're receiving a prompt for the CD then perhaps the path to the original patch registry entries are unavailable or corrupted. Removing this information and reinstalling Acrobat will restore the information. Here is a link to additional information:
