Installation trouble Acrobat 8

I'm installing Creative Suite 8 on a new machine with Vista 64 bit. It's giving me that dll error. I'm trying to fix it but nothing I'm finding is helping. I've tried updating to 8.1 and it won't let me do that either.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

What version of Creative Suite are you trying to install, version 3 or 4? Can you detail the dll error you're experiencing? Also, when does this error occur, during the install or when you launch Acrobat?
