Installing version 8.0

I have Microsoft XP for home with service pack 2 already installed. When I try to install Adobe 8.0 Pro it will not recognize the installation of service pack 2. I have reinstalled service pack 2 and Adobe 8 still will not recognize it. Adobe 8 never completes the install because it won't recognize service pack 2. I hope this is clear.

Hi drinne2,

If you go into MSDOS (start menu /run/) and then type 'winver' - what version of XP is stated?

It would be good to confirm you are running SP2
