Live Cycle Designer Shuts Down After downloading Reader 8.0

I've got Acrobat Pro 8.0 and have been using for a couple of months. Today I downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader 8.0. Now whenever I start Live Cycle designer I get the following error message " There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. Please exit Adobe Acrobat/Reader and try again", When I select ok, Live Cycle opens my file but within a few seconds I get another error message " Live cycle designer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down" and then I have the option of report the error to Microsoft. Anyone know what is causing this? All was fine until I installed Reader 8.0.

First, try to repair Acrobat 8.1.2. Reader probably overworte some resistry settings.

If that does not work, reinstall Acrobat and update.

Order of installation is important.
